Public Health Update

Ontario's Chief Medical Officer announced he is strongly recommending masking at indoor events which includes our upcoming 2022 Policy Conference. Masks will be available for attendees of the Conference at the registration desk. Please note that the wearing of a mask is not a requirement of registration or attendance but is encouraged as a public health precaution for the safety of everyone attending from across the Province. As always, OMSSA will continue to monitor public health information as it changes and will update members as more information comes in.

Hotel Room Block is Now Closed!

OMSSA's 2022 Policy Conference is taking place at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The preferred hotel rate has increased from $219 CAD per night to $269 CAD per night reflecting the limited rooms available for members to book. 

Know Where to Park Before You Attend the Policy Conference!

• Construction is currently taking place at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre and their parking lot is closed. No construction and noise disruption will take place during the Conference. 
• As a result of construction, the hotel is offering valet parking to members for $40.
• There are plenty of parking options around the hotel, please click on this Google Maps link to find alternative parking options:
  • Green P Municipal Parking - Nathan Phillips Square
    • $3.50/half hour
      
    • Day Maximum (7am – 6pm): $20.00
