Michelle Schurter is a change guru who provides practical, savvy advice to companies, communities, and entrepreneurs. Her mission is to help organizations attract millennial employees, lead the multi-generational workforce, and grow successfully in today's fast-paced and disruptive climate.
Her early career, counselling children and youth in the late 1980's and 90's in the areas of mental health, learning disabilities and early childhood education, is what draws her to (the-now-grown-up) millennials today. Michelle's extensive organizational development background was refined in the public sector, through 14 years working with some of Ontario's largest Ministries (Health, Agriculture, Children and Youth, and Education), Municipalities, and Universities. Research, innovation, strategy and change management seem to follow Michelle throughout her career.
Millennial Strategist was launched in 2017 to respond to the needs of professionals, companies and communities as they grapple with the challenges and opportunities of the multi-generational work-force. Michelle brings clients a unique skill set in human and social system change, backed with a Masters in Social Work and extensive clinical experience. Pairing the human change side with a flare for innovative strategy design, a Masters in Business Administration and public sector leadership experience, Michelle champions endless multi-generation possibilities via keynotes, training, customized consulting projects and 1:1 coaching.
