Summary of Duties:

 
Reporting to the Director, Housing Stability Services, the Manager, Rent Supplement & Tenant Selection is responsible for overseeing the administration of a range of housing programs within a legislative and policy framework, including procedure development, daily operations, monitoring, and evaluating performance to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of housing programs and achievement of divisional objectives. The management of the various Rent Supplement Programs and for the planning and management of the activities and staff of the Housing Access Centre, and provides policy-related development, guidance and advice to the Housing Division and Social Services.
 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • University degree in Social Sciences, Finance, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and related professional and lived community experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience, with demonstrated progressive management experience in social programs, finance, accounting, or a related field, with experience in budget preparation, project management, and program planning.
  • Working knowledge of the Rent Supplement Program, the Residential Tenancies Act and the Housing Services Act and Regulations.
 
Compensation & Other Information:  

$80,845 to $109,487

This is a permanent, full-time position.
