Highlights from OMSSA's 2021 Annual General Meeting

OMSSA hosted its 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Eligible voting members were invited to participate in and vote at the live AGM, and OMSSA was pleased to have almost 100 voting members present. 

AGM Highlights

• OMSSA's President Dan McCormick delivered his final report as OMSSA President, highlighting OMSSA's strategic focus and achievements in 2020

• OMSSA's Executive Director Doug Ball delivered his report, outlining key operational accomplishments for 2020

• OMSSA's Treasurer Henry Wall shared OMSSA's 2020 financial statements and outlined key highlights in his Treasurer's Report

• OMSSA welcomed and introduced Board members returning for the second year of their two-year terms

• OMSSA thanked departing Board member Luisa Artuso, Elaine Baxter-Trahair, Kevin Dickins, Jonathan Dixon, and Grace Mater for their dedication and leadership on OMSSA's Board

• Voting members heard remarks from eight nominees for OMSSA's 2021-2023 Board of Directors and were invited to participate in a secure online election immediately following the AGM

OMSSA Voting Members participated in an election to fill six vacancies on OMSSA's 2021-2023 Board of Directors securely online immediately following the AGM.
