Job Details

Act as community resource to committees, organizations and agencies working with families with children and youth within City and County of Peterborough.  Provide data, research and program evaluation and other services in support of the provincial Child Care and Early Learning System.

Qualifications

Requires a 3 year university degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or related field with up to 4 years related experience in statistical data analysis and collection, research, database design and report writing. Requires demonstrated knowledge in the Child Care and Early Learning System and child development issues. Demonstrates strong organizational, time-management and problem solving skills; the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate a number of tasks at one time and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Requires effective communication, facilitation and public relations skills to develop positive working relationships across the Division and with community partners. Requires sound computer literacy, utilizing MS Office software applications, database applications, data programs and software such as SPSS. Ability to work in a team-based environment and possess consensus building skills to effectively work with multi-disciplinary working groups and a variety of agency partners. Must have a commitment to quality customer service. Ability to be flexible and responsive in a fast paced environment. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with local policy and applicable legislation. Individual must have access to reliable transportation to fulfill the duties of the position within the City and County of Peterborough.

Salary

$37.12/hour
