OMSSA hosted its 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Friday, September 25, 2020. Eligible voting members were invited to participate in and vote at the live AGM, and OMSSA was pleased to have more than 50 voting members present. 

AGM Highlights

• OMSSA's President Dan McCormick delivered his report, highlighting OMSSA's strategic focus and achievements for the 2019 year

• OMSSA's Executive Director Doug Ball delivered his report, outlining key operational accomplishments for 2019 and beyond

• OMSSA's Treasurer Henry Wall shared OMSSA's 2019 financial statements and outlined key highlights in his Treasurer's Report

• Members voted on and approved amendments to OMSSA's By-laws

• OMSSA welcomed and introduced Board members returning for the second year of their two-year terms

• OMSSA thanked departing Board member Laura Lepine, Director of Social Services with Renfrew County for her dedication and leadership on OMSSA's Board

• Voting members heard remarks from five nominees for OMSSA's 2020-2022 Board of Directors and were invited to participate in a secure online election immediately following the AGM
