The Advanced level will help program participants lead organizational excellence through the lenses of integration and system management.

  • Senior managers and directors
  • Staff with more than 7 years experience in municipal human services

Learning Outcomes

  • Understanding Service System Management: how to develop service system frameworks for their organizations and communities that demonstrate the linkages between different departments and sectors and how these affect the end user.
  • Managing during ChangeUnderstanding transformation and change; creating a learning culture that can tap the transformative potential in systemic fatigue, complaint, and disengagement.
  • Organizational Management: Understanding organizational behaviour, working with councils and boards to lead decision making, understandinf financial controllership. 
  • Relationship Management: Leading the normalization of SAIL approaches in organizational practices, leading and managing teams, using coaching approaches in building strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve common outcomes.
  • Managing Yourself and Your Team: Leading with beliefs; developing critical thinking for effective decision-making; developing work-life brilliance.
